Gia is doing well. We tested her ability to breathe without the vent today with just oxygen for an hour and she did great. We will continue to exercise her that way a couple times a day. She was also reactive to a clap in front of her face today by a flinch of her eyes which she has not done to this point! We weaned her off another medicine today. She is also scheduled for the internal shunt tomorrow afternoon if all goes as planned. She is still battling a kidney infection but she is getting treated for that. Overall, she is doing well and making small baby steps that feel like it's getting closer to being able to interact with her. I will update everyone after the surgery tomorrow and we would love for you to continue to pray for her progress! Love you all!
