It is with heavy hearts we share this news.
Linette fought a courageous battle against cancer for several years while still working because of her zest for life, her passion for hygiene and her patients. She spent 29 years in the office here in Caro under both Dr Ken Tiseo and Dr John Jostock.
Our staff would like to extend our deep sympathy to her family- her husband Keith, daughter Anna and son Dedrick as they now navigate life without her.

Linette Catherine Baur of Caro, age 59, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Linette was born June 30, 1965, in Bad Axe, the daughter of Maurice and Catherine (Krzewinski) Bushey. She graduated from Laker High School with the class of 1983. It was during high school Linette happened to meet Keith Baur. The couple were soon high school sweethearts and even named Class Couple. Linette and Keith were married on April 29, 1989, at St. Felix in Pinnebog, Michigan.
Linette was a dental hygienist for many years, receiving her license from Kalamazoo Valley Community College and then furthering her education at Western Michigan University where she graduated with her bachelor degree of Health Science in 1988. She was employed in the Lansing and Saginaw areas and more locally, Dr. John Jostock’s office (formerly the office of Kenneth Tiseo, DDS) and Caro Family Dentistry. Linette loved the beach—whether it was the sound of the waves, the feel of the sand between her toes, or the joy of watching a sunset over the water, these were the moments where she truly felt at peace. She enjoyed gardening and most of all, traveling. Most recently she took trips to Europe, L.A., and just last month, Seattle. Linette had a passion for seeing new sights and the history that went with them. She lived life to the fullest, taking every opportunity to soak in the beauty of the world around her. Linette’s caring, upbeat, positive, and very loving soul will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Linette leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband of thirty-five years, Keith; their children and the lights of her life, Dedrick (Morgan) Baur and Anna Baur (Jacob Frease); mother, Catherine Bushey; siblings, Maribeth Bushey of California, Matt (Marybeth) Boucher of Florida, Janice (Dan) Glidden of Wisconsin, Renee (Bill) Jacobson of Massachusetts, and Brian (Stacey) Bushey of Michigan; mother-in-law, Karen Baur; sister-in-law, Kari (Thomas) Osentoski of Michigan; brothers-in-law, Kregg (Julie) Baur of California and Tim Baur of Michigan; and many other extended family members, nieces, nephews, and friends. Linette was preceded in death by her father, Maurice; brother, Mark Bushey; niece, Grace Bushey; and father-in-law, Robert Baur.
In keeping with Linette’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Christopher Parish, Sacred Heart Church in Caro with Rev. Isaac Madanu officiating. The family will be present to receive visitors at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Linette’s Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Christian Services of Sacred Heart Church.
