Hope everyone is having a great start to the week.
I want to circle back to my post from last week about exercise and obstacles.
Many of you stated that just making it a priority is the biggest obstacle. So let’s think about that for a minute. What should be everyone’s priority in life?
It’s obviously family. Your spouse, kids, brother, sister, niece, nephew, dogs, cats, parents. Whatever and whomever should be your most important priority.
Your biggest goal in life should be to spend as much time with those priorities and be around for them as long as possible.
A recent study showed that getting just 75-300 minutes of exercise a week can increase your life expectancy 2-4 years.
75 minutes a week to add 2 years.
That’s 11 minutes a day!!
So thinking of that, is making exercise a priority worth it for 2-4 more years of being there for your family?
One workout, one meal, one day at a time, over time and you’ll see that it will become a habit. You won’t even think about it. It becomes a routine. Your thoughts become your actions.
It really works. Give yourself 2 weeks and you’ll see amazing progress. It took me 51 years to figure it out. Don’t wait as long as I did. Start now.
