💡 Building healthy habits takes longer than you think!
We’ve all heard that it takes 21 days to form a habit… but according to a 2024 study, the real story is very different 👇
🧠 Researchers analyzed 20 studies on health behaviors like exercise, healthy eating, drinking more water, and reducing sedentary time.
Here’s what they found:
✨ On average, it takes 2–5 months to form a consistent habit — not 3 weeks!
✨ Habits form faster when the behavior is:
• Done frequently
• At a consistent time or place
• Enjoyable (yes, fun matters!)
• Chosen by you, not forced
The takeaway?
Don’t get discouraged if change feels slow. Consistency > perfection.
Small, enjoyable actions done daily are what actually rewire your brain and lifestyle 💪
