On July 27, 1953, an armistice was signed by the U.S., the People’s Republic of China, & North Korea, ending the Korean War.
National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day is a time to officially recognize the service and sacrifice of our Korean War veterans and their families.

This Friday, June 6, 2025 will mark the 81st landing at Normandy. Please take a moment to honor these extremely brave service members.

D-Day and the Normandy Campaign

On June 6, 1944, the Allies launched the long-anticipated invasion of Normandy, France. Soldiers from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and other Allied nations faced Hitler's formidable Atlantic Wall as they landed on the beaches of Normandy.

This Memorial Day, Coastal Cremations Carolina Shores pauses to honor the brave servicemembers and their families that we have had the solemn privilege to assist this year.

Each of them wore the uniform with pride and bore the weight of service with dignity. Whether they served in times of war or peace, their commitment helped safeguard the freedoms we too often take for granted. It’s been my honor to care for them and their families in their final journey.

Today, we remember their names, their stories, and their sacrifice. May we never forget what they gave, and may we live in a way that honors their memory.

🎶 Southport’s Afternoon Celebration
