Momentum WORK, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and disability service provider. (formerly UCP WORK, Inc.)

was founded in 1968 by the Kiwanis Club of Santa Barbara. The organization is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and employs a staff of approximately 200 employees to administer and provide services to over 400 people. maintains offices in Santa Maria, Santa Barbara and Carpinteria (Santa Barbara County), and provides services throughout the Tri-Counties (San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura).

Momentum WORK, Inc. was awarded a generous capital improvement grant from the Santa Barbara Foundation for the installation of new ADA-compliant electrical doors at our South County Day Program. Project outcomes include increased accessibility and confidence from our constituents by empowering individuals to access the day program and activities independently. While electrical doors are not required in all public buildings, abiding by the ADA affirms Momentum WORK, Inc.'s mission as an inclusive and socially responsible establishment.

Did you know that Momemtum WORK, Inc. has a new flag flying at the Santa Barbara Breakwater?

Santa Barbara Mayor, Randy Rowse, commemorated National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month with a flag raising ceremony and recognized our Santa Barbara Harbor Crew for their 34 years of service. Thanks to the Santa Barbara Yacht Club, in partnership with the Waterfront Department of the City of Santa Barbara , our new flag is included with the diverse spectrum of philanthropic and non-profit organizations within the Santa Barbara community benefiting local, national, and worldwide service projects.
