We're thrilled to celebrate National Bring Your Dog to Work Day here in Carrabelle! The atmosphere was filled with joy and wagging tails as our furry friends joined us for a day of fun and companionship. It’s hard to say who enjoyed it more, the cute pups or our wonderful residents!

Dogs have a remarkable ability to uplift spirits and foster connections, making them perfect companions for visiting nursing and rehabilitation centers. Studies have shown that interactions with dogs can significantly reduce stress and anxiety levels, enhance mood, and even encourage physical activity among seniors. So, not only did we have a blast, but we also embraced the heartwarming benefits that our four-legged friends bring to our community! 🐾❤️

We recently celebrated the remarkable journey of Miss Priscilla Thomas as she embarks on her path to becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)! Since joining our team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in 2007, Priscilla has made a significant impact on our community, and her dedication truly shines. In July 2023, she took on the role of Staffing Coordinator, further showcasing her leadership and commitment to excellence.

We are thrilled to support her as she pursues this new chapter in her healthcare career, and we’re excited to share that she will continue to work weekends as a CNA, ensuring her invaluable presence at Arabella of Carrabelle. Priscilla, you are an incredible asset to our team, and we can’t wait to see all that you will achieve in your LPN journey!

Yesterday we had our Friendsgiving celebration with our staff here in Carrabelle. It was heartwarming and delicious. We also had a pie contest, we thoroughly enjoyed getting to taste all the delicious pies, it was hard to choose a favorite. We are so thankful for our Arabella family!!

Residents voted on pumpkin decor contest. 1st place was Arabella pumpkin by our BOM Shelley Hensley!! 🙌
2nd was the witch pumpkin by Calen Sherrill our Medical Records!!🙌
