Judye M. Rann, 82, of Carrier Mills, IL passed away at 7:40 am on Thursday September 18, 2025 at Carbondale Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, IL. Graveside services will be held on Sunday September 21, 2025 at 1 pm at Providence Cemetery in Carrier Mills, IL. There will be no visitation; all friends and family should meet at the cemetery. Reverend Ryan Beck is officiating services. Felty Funeral Home of Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with arrangements.

Judye was born on January 15, 1943 in Carrier Mills, IL to the late Rudolph and Junita Ruth (Dempsey) Winters.

She married John Rann on July 10, 1961. John preceded her in death on September 8, 2002.

Judye was a devoted homemaker. She loved to read and especially enjoyed embroidery and making quilts.

She is survived by her Daughter: Tammy (Mike) Syers of Carrier Mills, IL; 2 Sons: Eric Rann of Carrier Mills, IL and Gary (Jill) Rann of Oklahoma; Sister: Elise (Shane) Johnson of Harrisburg, IL; 3 Brothers: Melvin (Mary) Winters and Gene Winters of Carrier Mills, IL and Wayne (Rhonda) Winters of Stonefort, IL; 3 Grandchildren: Alyssa (Bryson) Olsen of Arizona, Dustin Rann and Bradley (Mary) Rann of Oklahoma; 1 Great-grandchild: Cash Olsen; special Niece: Denise Abell; special Daughter-in-law: Renee Gulley, along with several nieces and nephews.

Judye was preceded in death by her husband; parents: Rudolph and Ruth Winters; 2 Brothers: Jack Winters and Rudy Winters, and 2 Sisters: Kathy Hughes and Carlene Doughty.

Darla Kay Gibbs, 67, of Harrisburg, IL passed away at 8:20 am on Monday September 15, 2025 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado, IL. Her wishes were to be cremated. Felty Funeral Home of Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with arrangements.

Darla was born on August 23, 1958 in Harrisburg, IL to the late Calvin “Pee Wee” and Doris (Griffith) Stone.

She was devoted to caring for others and enjoyed cooking for her loved ones. Her family was very important to her and she loved spending time with them.

Darla is survived by her Son: Gary B. Gibbs of Harrisburg, IL; Sister: Sharon Akins of Arizona; Brother: Calvin Stone Jr. of Springfield, IL; 3 Grandchildren: Michael D. Mills and Sarah J. Mills of Harrisburg, IL and Ricky L. Mills III of Eldorado, IL; and former spouse: Gary D. Gibbs.

Elma J. Reynolds, 83, of Stonefort, IL passed away at 8:30 am on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at her residence. Funeral services will be at 11 am on Friday, September 5, 2025 at Stonefort General Baptist in Stonefort, IL with Reverend Jeff Owens and Reverend Richard Malone officiating. Visitations will be held from 4 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL, and prior to the service on Friday from 9:30 am to 11 am at Stonefort General Baptist Church. Burial will follow services on Friday at Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills, IL.

Elma was born on August 14, 1942 in Harrisburg, IL to the late Elmer and Virginia (Cowsert) Brady.

She married Lloyd Wayne Reynolds on December 22, 1962. He preceded her in death on April 27, 2024.

Elma was a dedicated homemaker who loved to cook and had a passion for taking care of people. She was a 50 year member of the Stonefort Eastern Star Lodge #31, and attended Stonefort General Baptist Church.

She is survived by her 2 Daughters: Darlene Bailey of Stonefort, IL and Becky (Steve) Horn of Creal Springs, IL; 2 Sisters: Sarah Caldwell of Lakeland, FL and Aletha Jane (Tom) Guenther of Ocala, FL; Grandchildren: Brandon (Ashly) Dalton, Brian (Morgan) Dalton, Breanna (Kavern) Kerley, Ty (Libby) Bailey, Tim (Dawn) Bailey and Todd Bailey, along with several great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.

Elma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister: Debbie DePew.

William Earl Taylor

William Earl Taylor, 78, of Stonefort, IL passed away at 7:15 am on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at his place of residence. His wishes were to be cremated. Further details will be added at a later time. Felty Funeral Home of Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with arrangements.

William was born on November 18, 1946 in Ashland, WI to the late Harold Arthur Taylor and LaVergne Victoria (Vershoore) Taylor.

He married the former Joy Conrad on March 19, 1994.

William was a veteran and proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. After his service, he worked as a heavy equipment operator for an exceptional time. In his free time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a member of the Lockport VFW Post 5788 and the Lockport American Legion Post #18.

He is survived by his wife: Joy Taylor of Stonefort, IL; 3 Children: William H. Taylor of DeMotte, IL, Edward R. (Liz Anderson) Taylor of Oswego, IL and Alex C. (Ashley) Taylor of Orland Park, IL; 1 Brother: Glenn A. Taylor of Carrier Mills, IL; 1 Sister: Diane Lynn Ziemke of Arizona, and 1 Grandchild: Hailey R. Taylor of Utah.

William was preceded in death by his parents: Harold and LaVergne Taylor and In-Laws: Edward and Patricia Conrad.

Barbara Jean Fugate, 83, of Carrier Mills, IL died Saturday August 23, 2025 at 3:16 am at Carrier Mills Nursing and Rehab Center. Funeral services will be held Saturday August 30, 2025 at 12 Noon at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Saturday after 10 am until service time. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery in Harrisburg, IL.

She was born on October 7, 1941 in Harrisburg, IL to the late Clark and Marie (Keasler) Horton.

She married John Fugate Jr. on November 25, 1961 and he preceded in death on December 4, 2021.

For most of Barbara's life she was a homemaker and loved to visit with people, especially when she was an Avon salesperson.

She is survived by her Son: Bill (Mary) Fugate of Carrier Mills, IL; 2 Brothers: Cletus (Della) Horton of Harrisburg, IL and Allen (Sandy) Horton of Harco, IL; 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband: John Fugate Jr.; Daughter: Rhonda Fugate; and 2 Brothers: Bob Horton and Ronnie Horton.
