Barbara Sue Woolard, 64, of Eldorado, IL passed away at 12 AM on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. Graveside services will begin at 11 AM on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Wolf Creek Cemetery in Eldorado, IL with Reverend Jeff Owens officiating. There will be no visitation all family and friends should go directly to the cemetery. Felty Funeral Home of Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with arrangements.

Barbara was born on October 29, 1961 in Eldorado, IL to the late Etsel Harrawood and Gaytha (Bryant) Harrawood. She married Richard Woolard on March 2, 1980.

She worked as a secretary and often helped out around her church. She attended Stonefort General Baptist Church in Stonefort, IL. Barbara enjoyed working in the church anytime she could, and spending time with her family. Her love for her children and the Lord was unwavering.

Barbara is survived by her 2 children: Lindsay (Lloyd) Neafus and Neal Woolard both of Eldorado, IL; 3 siblings: Rhonda (Eric) Travelstead of Eldorado, IL, Kenny (Beverly) Harrawood of Raleigh, IL and Janice Oliver of Indiana; along with several nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Etsel and Gaytha Harrawood.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Stonefort General Baptist Church.

Richard Gerald “Dick” Woolard, 71, of Eldorado, IL passed away at 11 AM at his residence on Saturday, May 23, 2026. Graveside services will begin at 11 AM on Friday, May 29, 2026 at Wolf Creek Cemetery in Eldorado, IL with Reverend Jeff Owens officiating. Dick was born on June 24, 1954 in Joliet, IL to the late Guy Woolard and Lucille (Young) Woolard. He married Barbara Woolard on March 2, 1980.

Dick was a coal miner for many years.

He is survived by his 2 children: Lindsay (Lloyd) Neafus and Neal Woolard both of Eldorado, IL; 3 siblings: Rick Woolard and Sandra Schauer both of Eldorado, IL and Marla Morris of Elgin, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Guy and Lucille Woolard, and brother: Mark Morris.

John Joseph Jackiewicz Sr.

John Joseph Jackiewicz, 87, of Ridgway, IL died Friday May 22, 2026 at 4:39 am at Gallatin Manor in Ridgway, IL. His wishes were to be cremated. There will be no services. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with the details.

He was born on August 7, 1938 in Racine, WI where he was raised by Floyd and Violet Thomas.

He married the former Sandra Janice Wood and she survives.

He was a welder by trade and also spent some time working in a sawmill. He loved anything outdoors, especially fishing, hunting or doing mechanical work.

He is survived by his wife: Sandra Janice Jackiewicz of Colorado, IL; 2 sons: John J. (Dana) Jackiewicz Jr. of Spring Hill, TN and John H. Jackiewicz of Jacksonville, FL; 2 granddaughters: Trinity Jackiewicz of Spring Hill, TN and Rebecca Jackiewicz of St. Augustine FL; Brother: Bob Thomas and a sister: Shirley.

Robert Dean “Bobby” Scott, 65, of New Braunfels, TX (formerly of Carrier Mills, IL) passed away at 12:15 PM on Monday May 18, 2026 at MD Anderson Cancer Center of Houston, TX. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Sunday May 24, 2026 at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will begin at 10 AM through service time with Reverend Derick Miller officiating. Burial will follow services at Reids Chapel Cemetery in Stonefort, IL.

Bobby was born on July 24, 1960 in Oak Park, IL to Robert Henry Scott and Dorothy (Ford) Scott.

He owned and operated Trak Automotion, a sheet metal manufacturing company. In his free time he loved to ride his Harley and work on and restore older cars.

Bobby is survived by his Mother: Dorothy Scott of Carrier Mills, IL; Son: Kenny (Sophia) Scott of Reno, Nevada, Son: Robert (Haley) Scott Jr. of New Braunfels, TX, Granddaughter: Aurora Scott of New Braunfels, TX; Son: Chase Scott of New Braunfels, TX; 2 Sisters: Katina (Kevin) Collins of Carrier Mills, IL and Teresa (Derick) Miller of Bradley, IL; Brother: Larry (Chrissy) Scott of Clarksville, TN.

He was preceded in death by his Father: Robert Henry Scott and Sister: Lisa Hancock.

Janie M. Wienke, 95, of Carrier Mills, IL died Sunday May 17, 2026 at 1:15 pm at her residence. Graveside services will be held Friday May 22, 2026 at 11 am at Springhill Cemetery in rural Creal Springs, IL. There will be no visitation all family and friends should go directly to the cemetery. She was born on July 3, 1930 in Stonefort, IL to the late William and Lillie (Deaton) Deaton.

She worked most of her life as a switchboard operator and also for an manufacturing company in the Chicago area. She loved to read and spend time with her family.

Janie is survived by her son: Michael Wienke of Carrier Mills, IL and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Janie was preceded in death by 3 Sisters: Helen Graves, Mary Bohne and Lula Sibigtroth and 5 Brothers: Charlie Deaton, Vernell Deaton, Lavern Deaton, Eugene Deaton and Noel Deaton.

David Frederick “Sonny” Humm, age 79, of Harrisburg, IL passed away at 4:45 pm on Saturday, May 9th, 2026 at Carrier Mills Nursing and Rehab in Carrier Mills, IL. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 11 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Harrisburg, IL. Visitation will begin at 9 am until service time with Father Christian Iwuagawu officiating. Burial will follow services at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg, IL. Military Rites will be conducted by the Army National Guard and Carrier Mills and Harrisburg American Legion Posts. Felty Funeral Home of Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with arrangements.

David was born on December 8th, 1946 in Evansville, IN to the late Edgar Sr. amd Lena Jo (Mudd) Humm. He graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1964. David served his country in Vietnam in the United States Army. After leaving the service David married Brenda Sue Potts on August 3rd, 1968. She preceded him in death on July 11th, 2022.

David and Brenda moved to Joliet, IL where David worked for Caterpillar. After retiring from Caterpillar they moved to Carrier Mills, IL where David owned and operated Humm’s Pest Control. He also worked as a laborer for Harrisburg Masonry.

David and Brenda were actively involved with the Saline County Historical Society for many years. They traveled the United States extensively. He also enjoyed going to tractor shows.

David is survived by his sisters: Marcia Slightom of Bettendorf, IA and Pam (Jeff) Marcum of Harrisburg, IL; sisters-in-law: Connie (Edgar) Humm, Patti (Jackie) Potts and Carolyn (Kevin) Heaton - all of Harrisburg, IL; brothers-in-law: Ronnie (Evelyn) of Hardin County, IL and Steven Potts of Alabama; and a host of nieces and nephews who dearly loved their Uncle Sonny.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Brenda, sisters: Jean Nordberg and Judy Vowels, and brother Edgar Humm Jr.
