Meet Jen Anderson, our Admissions & Business Development Director here at Arbors at Carroll! 💚🏡

Jen has been part of the Arbors family for 5 years and is often one of the very first friendly faces families meet when beginning their long-term care journey.

“I love our residents — all of my grandmas and grandpas — and being able to help families navigate what can sometimes feel like an overwhelming process. Whether it’s skilled rehab, long-term care, Medicaid pending questions, or simply helping someone feel comfortable, I truly enjoy being there for people during important moments in their lives.”

Jen also enjoys building strong partnerships with local hospitals, hospice agencies, home health companies, and assisted living communities to help make transitions smoother for patients and families throughout our community.

“Well, I been to a couple places before this one, and this one here… this one was better. The people at Arbors, they were real good to me. They didn’t just rush in and rush back out all the time like some places do. They’d stop and talk to ya for a minute and make sure you was okay. That means a lot when you’re somewhere away from home.

And the food was good too. Tasted homemade most days. I kept tellin’ my daughter, ‘This tastes like somebody actually cooked it.’ I liked that.

Sometimes I get mixed up or forget things, and the girls there were patient with me. Nobody made me feel dumb or like I was aggravating them. They helped me when I needed it and checked on me often.

I got stronger while I was there and was happy to finally get back home, but if I ever needed therapy or rehab again, I’d go back to Arbors at Carroll. I already told my family that’s where I’d want to go.” 💙
