The past couple of years, we’ve remade the top three new Iowa State Fair foods and voted on our Garden View favorite! 🐷 🍫 🥓

Yesterday, we made our own version of the Three Little Pigs (ham balls), scotcheroo shake and bacon chicken ranch egg rolls.

The votes are in at the Iowa State Fair and their favorite was the same as ours, the bacon chicken ranch egg roll! 🥇

🍫 🥥 Today we enjoyed a “s’moregasbord” of s’mores! The tenants built their own s’mores using peanut butter, coconut, chocolate, caramel, marshmallows and grahams.

To say our hands were sticky would be quite the understatement!

We also kicked off 🐷 fair season 🌽 last month with a visit from Manning’s Win or Grin 4H Club. The tenants always enjoy learning more about their creative projects! 🎨

We'll be celebrating National Assisted Living Week with a party, I mean picnic, in the grotto! 🎶 🍔 🍦 Save the date!!

Last week, we celebrated Mother's Day with our annual Mother's Day Tea Party! All of our favorite Garden View ladies were invited to join with a plus one (or two or three)! 😉

We enjoyed music from Kile Jackson and had serving assistance from some of our Kuemper buddies!

A big thank you to our activities department, Erin and Julie, for planning this SPECTACULAR event and to all of the volunteers and families that spent the afternoon with us!
