IBT is honored to announce our collaboration with Marcus Henry as our Scouting Consultant!

Marc brings honor, devotion, initiative, but most importantly a growth based mindset not just to football or sports, but to our community as a whole. It is for these reasons, and many others, that we have created a position for him within the Integrated Biomechanic Therapy: Youth Sports Therapy Program.

The IBT Youth Sports Therapy Program continues to grow because we strive to connect you with trustworthy experts who have your child’s maximum, long term potential in mind. This means our experts must also be striving to reach their own maximum potential.

Marc believes if grind, you shine! He applies this to his own life, Many refer to him as the best in the game, but he is continuously elevating his skill set.

His goals are to help athletes achieve their goals of playing at the next level by helping them get exposure. He has over 15+ years in the Sports Media world as an interviewer, analyst, and writer for multiple media outlets. He has also created his own opportunities to amplify his ability to elevate these athletes.

How can a scouting consultation with Marcus Henry help you and your youth athlete:

✅Athlete film analyzation

✅Write up description of your athletes analyzation

✅Live game attendance/analyzation

✅Guidance on how to gain exposure

✅What direction to aim your efforts

✅What pathways are effective

✅How social media can be you best tool

Navigating the steps to take your child to the next level requires experienced guides to not just walk the path, but to be seen on their journey!

Contact Marcus Henry for him to be one of your guides!

Did you know an IBT case study was published in a scientific journal?

The International Journal of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and the Massage Therapy Foundation have a Case Study Poster Contest every year at the AMTA Convention. LMTs are encouraged to submit interesting case studies that move the field of soft tissue care forward.

These are peer reviewed and if approved/accepted the LMT gets to have their poster presented at the convention and have their case study published in the International Journal of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork!

There aren’t many offerings in the industry for true scientific observation and quantification of this work so this opportunity was extremely valuable.

“I was able to look up at the stars for the first time in 26 years.”

Integrated Biomechanic Therapy works with Spinal Cord Injury/Wheelchair Athletes!

Meet our athlete Justin Fergusen! Or as we know him, Turtle! He is a quad rugby player for the DFW Rangers and a long time client and supporter of IBT.

Turtle went through a 6 week 2x a week, program that includes soft-tissue therapy and corrective/strength exercises.

IBT assists with secondary nociceptive pain conditions that are brought about by muscular imbalances navigating life as an athlete in a manual wheelchair.

Our SCI/wheelchair adaptive athletes have reported:

Improved ability to push in their chair
Reduced or eliminated muscular pain in their upper body
Reduced spasms
Improved lower body comfort in their chair
Improved ability to play their sport

Open House Youth Sports Therapy Demonstration:

This gave coaches, parents, and athletes the opportunity to experience an IBT Youth Sports Therapy session in real time.

Every IBT Youth Sports Therapy session goes as follows:

1. Your child is given a body zone chart for us to review where we will and won’t be applying soft tissue therapy.

2. Your child explains to their Biomechanic what discomfort, pain, tension etc they are experiencing.

3. Based on this report, your Biomechanic explain which protocol they will be utilizing, and why. They also explain what muscles are involved with this protocol and why it is important we affect them.

4. Your child is given full autonomy to give consent to treatment and can rescind this consent if they ever feel uncomfortable during the session.

5. The parent/guardian is required to stay for each session. Whether it is the 1st, or 100th session, adult supervision is always required.

6. During the session, we provide explanations of their muscular imbalance in order to begin educating your athlete on proper maintenance of their muscular system.

7. When the session is completed, we seek feedback sought in order to encourage further communication from your athlete and to assess results from the protocol applied.
