Nico is a brave 17-year-old who has been fighting Stage 3 rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer. After completing a grueling round of chemotherapy, his family was devastated to learn that a new mass had been found — meaning Nico now faces another long and difficult treatment journey. His mother, a valued coworker of ours, here at Carroll House, has shown incredible strength as she juggles work, hospital visits, and the emotional toll of her son’s illness. This battle has placed a heavy financial and emotional strain on their family as they continue to miss work to stay by Nico’s side. Nico loves to fish, and in his honor, we’re “Fishing for a Cure.” We’re selling shirts to help uplift this amazing family and ease some of the burden they’re carrying. Every shirt purchased is more than just support — it’s a message of hope, love, and solidarity. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with Nico and his family during this fight.
