StickStar Scoreboard: MORE NATIONAL COMPETITION

It was a statement week for Texas Lacrosse as our top programs went head-to-head with some of the best the West Coast and Pacific Northwest had to offer.

🏆 The Big Takeaways:

The National Sweep: and both defended home turf against elite out-of-state competition. From taking down Arizona powerhouse Brophy Prep to a marquee win over California’s Mater Dei at SMU, the North Texas powers continue to compete at a high level against National Competition.

Momentum Building: Across the board, teams like are finding their rhythm as we head into the most critical stretch of the 2026 season.

Houston SPC Rivalry: EHS posted a massive win against their main SPC Rival. Coach Tatum has the boys buzzin!

StickStar Report: Game Recap 🎙️ ESD 11 Brophy Prep 4

The Eagles keep flying high. In our first time catching this spring, they put on a clinical performance in this massive cross-region showdown, taking down the powerhouse from Arizona, Brophy Prep.

🦅 The ESD Offensive Machine

The scoring depth for this Eagles squad is a nightmare for opposing defenses. Between the established vets and the young guns, the ball movement was elite.

| 3 Goals: The 2028 standout remains dominant. Wayte continues to prove why he belongs in the national conversation, finding the back of the net three times and dictating the tempo from behind the cage.

Love & The Lears This group works extremely well together. secured a Hat Trick and really brings it left. Alongside him, the Lear brothers were incredibly productive, creating high-quality looks throughout the contest. 🎩🚀

🧱 Battle of the Pipes

While the offense was clicking, the story of the game was the high-level goaltending on both ends of the field.

| Brophy Prep Heading to Utah next year, and you can see why. Ryan was absolutely lights out, making double-digit saves.

| : Xander has been outstanding for a long time, and is now the starting Tendy for the Eagles. He really is the lynchpin for the Eagles defensive unit!

StickStar Report: Not Just Soccer Game of the Week 🎙️

Highland Park 8, Jesuit 3

Balanced Attack: The Scots’ offense was the definition of “strength in numbers.” James Allen was the only player to register a multi-goal game (2G), proving HP can hurt you from anywhere. After took an early 1-0 lead, Harrison Brown found the back of the net to spark the Scots, and Carter Sutton slammed the door late to finish it up.

Man of the Match | Jackson Bond: Bond was an absolute game-changer. His sequence—a crucial caused turnover followed by a transition goal—completely flipped the momentum and turned the tide in favor of the Scots. Beyond the scoring, he was a lockdown specialist, putting the clamps on Jesuit’s top offensive threat all night long. Enjoy that pasta, Jackson! 🍝🛡️

“Finished the Clip”: This week’s highlight reel belongs to Bond. He snagged a nifty one-handed interception, turned on the jets, and finished the bucket to put the Scots on top for good. Once he took off, they never looked back. 🚀💨

The Rivalry: After Jesuit knocked off the Scots last year, was clearly ready to protect their home turf. They played with a chip on their shoulder and refused to let history repeat itself. If we get a rubber match in the playoffs, expect it to be even closer and twice as contentious! 🍿🔥

StickStar Report: Game Recap | 10 @ TorreyPinesLax 3

This may have been the best I’ve seen HP ever play against a dominant out of State Program.

Defense Shines | Coach has this unit playing at a Championship Level. The story of the game was the lockdown performance from and a relentless core of defenders who gave up nothing. The physicality and communication were elite from the first whistle to the last.

Man of the Match:

Standing tall in the cage, was an absolute wall. W***y turned away countless high-quality looks, surrendering only 1 goal through the first 3 periods. For his performance, he’s taking home a Free Pasta Dish from Momo’s! (Parents, the rest of the bill is on you!)

⚔️ Balanced Attack| Even without Sutton in the lineup, the Scots’ offense was the most balanced we’ve seen all season.

The Stat: 10 Goals from 8 different scorers.

The Takeaway: When you can’t key in on just one guy, this offense becomes a nightmare to scout.
