In Norse mythology, Sköll and Hati are two voracious wolves, offspring of the giant wolf Fenris, who eternally chase the sun and moon across the sky. Sköll pursuing the sun (Sol) and Hati the moon (Mani), symbolizing predatory pursuit and the cyclical forces of nature, until they finally devour their prey during Ragnarök.

This spurned me to reflect on how ancient humans observed primal forces of nature, personifying the cycles of day and night as the dance of predator/prey… perhaps we too can benefit from observing such forces, relentless tenacity can conquer almost anything on a long enough timeline.
