We are saddened to share that Peggy Jo Shepherd passed away on September 19, 2025 at the home of her son, Vernon.

Peggy lived a full and beautiful life—devoted wife to the late Ray A. Shepherd for 65 years, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was known for her creativity, her love of flowers and ceramics, her famous butterscotch pies, and the joy she brought to her family and community.

A Christian memorial service is being planned, with interment to follow at Harlem Springs Cemetery. In her memory, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

We are saddened to share the passing of Michael Kowal, 60, of Coshocton, who passed away unexpectedly on September 11, 2025. A U.S. Army Veteran and beloved brother, uncle, and friend, Michael will be deeply missed.

Private burial will take place at the convenience of the family in Oak Grove Cemetery, Marietta, Ohio.
