With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Kay Kennedy.

A Memorial Service for Kay will be held Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 1 p.m. in Hopedale United Presbyterian Church in Hopedale, Ohio. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services in the church.

The family asks that donations be made in Kay’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Kennedy family during this difficult time. Kay's spirit of faith, independence, and joy will be deeply missed.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Dan Wells, 77, of Carrollton, on December 30, 2025, at Aultman Hospital in Canton.

A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the church, followed by the Mass. A luncheon to remember Dan will follow at noon in the Our Lady of Mercy Parish Hall on Moody Ave.

Edward Ondusko, 100, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Aultman Woodlawn Compassionate Care Center, surrounded by his family.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held.

The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to the Carroll County Friendship Center, 100 Kensington Road NE, Carrollton, OH 44615, or to Aultman Hospice, ℅ The Aultman Foundation, 2600 Sixth Street SW, Canton, OH 44710.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Roxie Sutton, 91, who left this world peacefully, surrounded by her loving children, on December 21, 2025.

A private graveside service was held at Mechanicstown Cemetery.

Thanks to Laura and her staff at the Deli on the Square for hosting our Dodds Funeral Home Christmas party again this year. Everyone had a wonderful time and the food was excellent!

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Samuel Ralston, age 87, of Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, December 16, 2025, at Altercare of Hartville.

Friends are welcome to pay their respects on Monday, December 22, with visitation at 11 a.m. followed by the service at noon at the funeral home.

We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Elmer Stidom Jr., age 88, of Carrollton, Ohio, who passed away peacefully on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Oak Pointe Nursing Home in Baltic, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton, with full military honors. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery near Minerva.

We honor the life of Robert J. “Bob” Bird, 86, who passed peacefully into eternity on December 7, 2025, with his family by his side.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 11, from 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. at Dellroy Christ Community Church, followed by a service officiated by Pastor Scott Welch.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dellroy Ruritans to continue Bob’s legacy of community service.
