The Empty
I invite you now to come sit with me, quietly with-in the emptiness
I imagine it as many ways of being, like the vast covering of glimmer with the days first kiss of sunlight on the snow covered ridge
The freedom of the barren trees, no longer burdened, as I walk down the path covered in the colors of last seasons leaves
Reminding me that things left in the past are now the nutrients for mothers magic
The wind that has traveled a million lifetimes to finally reach its destination, as it gently touches my soft cheek, teaching me to remember who I am
As I journey the base of the mountain I am awakened to not climb my way to some proverbial top as a means of success, but to sit with the rumble of disruption which are the true bones of both chaos and stability
Seeing the beauty that lie on both sides
As I am introduced to a new stone of nature's wisdom gifts, I ask it's spirit medicine to help me embrace the "Empty"
So I may create room for joy and love, as I follow the beauty way of sister hummingbird drinking the sweet nectar of life on our great passage home
