Friday, December 12th our main office and phone lines will close at 3:00pm. CMG Plus will close at 5:00pm.
Thursday, December 18th our main office and phone lines will close at 2:00pm. CMG Plus will remain open until their normal closing time, 7:00pm.

Our office will be closed on Thursday, 11/27 and Friday, 11/28 in honor of the holiday. CMG Plus is closed on Thanksgiving as well, but will reopen Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm.

If you are currently shopping for insurance, don’t forget to verify that Carson Medical Group is in-network! You can give your insurance company our Tax ID, 88-0133501 to check network status.

Carson Medical Group is currently participating in Movember, or Men’s Health Awareness Month. This month focuses on testicular and prostate cancers as well as men’s mental health. Testicular and prostate cancers are very treatable, but early detection is key. Staying on top of your routine wellness checks and seeking help when your physical or mental health is at stake is not a sign of weakness. Let’s break the stigma.

This October, CMG staff are participating in Breast Cancer Awareness Month. One in eight women in the US will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in their lifetime. While the effects of breast cancer are widespread, it is very treatable. Keeping up on preventative care such as annual wellness exams, regular mammograms, and monthly self-exams is vital. We still have two more drive-thru flu shot clinics at our location at 1946 Old Hot Springs Road! Come by on October 11th or 18th between 8:30 AM and 2:00 PM - no appointment necessary!

The flu shot clinic provides only the flu shot to established CMG patients. If you also need a COVID vaccine or any other vaccines, please call 775-283-5050 to schedule an appointment during regular business hours.

We are thrilled to welcome back Lauren Taylor, PA-C! After a few years living out of state, Lauren recently rejoined our Family Medicine team and is now located in our Reno office at 9400 Double R Blvd. Lauren is well-known for her compassionate and kind approach to patient care. When she’s not at work, she can be found enjoying Nevada’s outdoor scene! She is often camping, swimming, or hiking with her husband, three children, and golden retriever.
