March 1st kicked off National Developmental Disabilities month 💙✨ This month is special to our organization as we aim every day to highlight the many ways in which individuals with and without disabilities come together to form strong and diverse communities. ⁠

This month, and every month, we hope you join us in raising awareness about the inclusion of those with developmental disabilities in all aspects of community life, as well as awareness of the barriers that individuals with disabilities still sometimes face in connecting to the communities in which they live.⁠

February 10, 2023 Understanding Needed Integration had a valentine's day celebration! Everyone enjoyed delicious tacos,quesadillas, and yummy churros/funnel cake. They also jammed out to music and appreciated time spent with friends and staff! We can’t wait for the next celebration!

Understanding Needed Integration LLC is a community-based day integration program that supports adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities through employment and other supports as needed.

Our focus is to transform and empower clients from traditional programs that offered generic opportunities into a personal individualized program that offers each individual an opportunity to become integrated in their communities.
