COH caregivers promote healthy aging in geriatric patients by focusing on nutrient-rich whole foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and low-fat dairy, while doing our best in limiting processed foods, excessive salt, sugar, and unhealthy fats.
We emphazise on fiber from whole grains and produce, we also ensure adequate intake of calcium and vitamin D for bone health, and prioritize protein to maintain muscle mass. Our caregivers keep our patients hydrated as it is crucial to their well being , and we ensure to make mealtimes a social and enjoyable experience. 💝
