🏃‍♀️🥾 Yoga for Runners & Hikers 🧘‍♀️

Whether you're hitting the trails, logging miles on the road, or exploring mountain paths, your body works hard to keep you moving. Adding yoga to your routine can help support your adventures and keep you feeling strong and balanced.

🌿 Benefits of yoga for hikers and runners:
• Improves flexibility in hips, hamstrings, and calves
• Helps prevent injuries by balancing muscle groups
• Strengthens stabilizing muscles for better endurance
• Supports joint health and mobility
• Enhances balance for uneven terrain
• Promotes faster recovery after long hikes or runs

Yoga also encourages mindful breathing and body awareness, which can help you move more efficiently and stay connected to your body while you're out exploring.

Whether you’re preparing for your next adventure or recovering from one, a little time on the mat can go a long way.

✨ Strong body. Steady breath. Endless trails.

Remember to as always have a little fun!!

🏃‍♀️💆‍♂️ Runners, don’t forget your recovery!

Whether you're training for a race, hitting the trails, or enjoying a daily run, your muscles work hard to keep you moving. Massage can be a powerful tool to help your body recover, prevent injury, and keep you running strong.

✨ Benefits of massage for runners:
• Reduces muscle soreness and stiffness
• Improves circulation and recovery time
• Helps prevent injuries by releasing tight muscles
• Increases flexibility and range of motion
• Supports faster healing after long runs
• Promotes relaxation and nervous system reset

Massage helps your body recover so you can run farther, feel better, and stay consistent with your training.

Take care of the body that carries you every mile. Your future runs will thank you. 🏃‍♂️

🌿 If you can’t get outside… go inside. 🌿

Nature lives in more places than we think.
Sometimes the trail we need most is the one that leads inward.

When the weather keeps us in, it’s the perfect time to:
🧘‍♀️ Move your body
🌬️ Slow your breath
🧠 Clear your mind
💚 Reconnect with yourself

The same calm we find in the forest can be found in a quiet moment on the mat, a deep breath, or a few minutes of stillness.

Because sometimes the best way to return to nature…
is to return to yourself. 🌱

✨ How Reiki Can Support Pain Relief ✨

Pain — whether physical, emotional, or energetic — often carries stress, tension, and overwhelm in the body. Reiki offers a gentle, non-invasive way to support healing by helping your system relax, reset, and realign.

Rather than “treating” pain directly, Reiki works with your body’s natural healing ability, encouraging a shift from tension to ease. When the nervous system softens, the body has more space to release, restore, and rebalance.

🌿 How Reiki may support pain:
• Calms the nervous system and reduces stress
• Helps release energetic blockages and tension
• Supports deeper, more relaxed breathing
• Encourages emotional processing and release
• Promotes overall relaxation and body awareness
• Creates a sense of safety, peace, and comfort

At the Yoga Farm, Reiki is offered in a nurturing, trauma-informed space where you are fully supported and respected. You simply lie down, breathe, and receive — your body does the rest.

Reiki isn’t about “fixing” pain, but about creating conditions where healing can naturally unfold. Even moments of softness and relief can be deeply restorative.

If you’re living with pain, Reiki may be a gentle ally on your healing path 🤍

A Healthy Body Works

A few years ago my husband and I decided that we had abused our bodies long enough. It was time to start giving back to our bodies so that when we are in our 80’s we can still hike, travel, and enjoy life with all our friends and family. So as we travel through our journey, we couldn’t help but feeling the need to share how amazing we are feeling. We began our journey with me becoming a Yoga Instructor and Matthew becoming a Massage Therapist. Through our progress and additional training, we felt the need to give back some of our knowledge to help others. Here is where the idea of the Yoga Farm was brought to life. After finding the perfect, yet neglected, property for the Yoga Farm, our dream of helping others is becoming a reality. Join us on our new adventure as we bring the Yoga Farm back to life while sharing our love, skills and knowledge with you all!
