This month we’re highlighting Parkinson’s Disease. Parkinson’s happens when the brain cells that produce dopamine, which is responsible for coordinating movement, stop working or dies.

It is a progressive movement disorder in which there is no cure. However, non movement problems such as, depression and memory can also develop.

A stoke happens when blood flow to the brain is blocked or when a blood vessel in the brain bursts.
F.A.S.T. treatment is critical, can save a person’s life and lessen the severity of brain damage or long-term disability, according to the CDC.

Did you know that 1 in 5 heart attacks are silent?🤫 According to the CDC, in the US someone has a heart attack every 40 seconds.

Symptoms can vary from men to women, however according to the American Heart Association these are the 6 most common symptoms. The AHA also states, that if these symptoms are sudden and last for 15 minutes you should seek help immediately ‼️
