Our SAIL fitness program helps participants Stay Active & Independent for Life‼️ Classes held twice weekly, this program promotes strength and balance.

Have you tried Tai Chi?

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese exercise with emphasis on slow focused movements. Our Tai Chi sessions are particular for arthritis and fall prevention.

Our participants are quite impressed with the improvements of balance and strength after this 12 week course! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ‼️ Join us in the community this fall. Private sessions are also available.

Our Senior Fitness Programs are the place to be! Come join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Florence Senior Center for bingo, exercise, education and FUN 🤩

According to the CDC, health literacy refers to an individuals ability to find, understand and use information and services to inform of health related decisions.

Healthy aging is heavily impacted by the decisions we make. When we are not properly informed, or don’t understand the information provided the ability to make those decisions become jaded.

Because we understand the importance of health literacy, Friends with Caring Hands offers free health coaching to our clients and group settings.

For us, the best success stories are those where clients are involved and dedicated to a better quality of life.
This reigns very true for our new client Mr. Davis! Mr. Davis called and said “I need help”. He was patient as we waited for the insurance process, and once we got started the light in his eyes is unforgettable!
Within 30 days of service we helped him attain a new Walker, shower chair and sock helper to name a few physical items.
We assisted Mr. Davis in organizing finances & provided transportation to appointments that he’d been waiting months to attend.
We also helped Mr. Davis unpack and “deck out”the apartment he’d already been in for several months!
Our presence in the home is to assist our clients in remaining independent to safely age in place.
