The Middlesex County Center for Empowerment, alongside the Sexual Violence Prevention Coalition of Middlesex County, invites residents to a special community event in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) during April. The event will take place on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., located at The Heldrich Hotel, 101 Livingston Ave, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.

This is a time dedicated to raising awareness of sexual violence and abuse, increasing support for survivors, and strengthening prevention. With April 2026 marking 25 years of SAAM, this free event will reflect on how far the movement has come and how we can move forward, together, creating a safer and supportive community for everyone. It will include speakers, performers, and vendors as well as food and refreshments. The event will be provided in both English and Spanish.
