The Carteret Bicycle Classic will take place THIS Saturday, September 13, 2025. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. First race starts at 9:30 a.m.

There will be seven race categories. Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded. Helmets must be worn.

All riders are invited to join in the Park to Pier bike ride. The ride will be escorted by the Carteret Police Department and go from Carteret Park to the Carteret Waterfront Park. Riders MUST be picked up at the Carteret Waterfront Park.

The Borough of Carteret Fall Town-Wide Yard Sale is scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2025, and Sunday, September 28, 2025.

Register by EMAILING RecDept@Carteret.Net. Please indicate your name, address, phone number, and date(s) you would like to participate.

Yard sale times are up to the discretion of each participant. Signage cannot be posted on poles around town.
Rain Dates:
Saturday, October 4, 2025, and Sunday, October 5, 2025.
(Registration will not open back up if the rain dates are utilized.)
Registration begins September 1, 2025.
Register no later than September 19, 2025.
Final list will be posted September 23, 2025.

The Central Jersey Arts Council invites you to join a DIY Hot Air Balloon workshop on Tuesday, September 9, from 4 to 7 PM at the Blazing Star Cultural Arts Center in Carteret. This hands-on workshop is suitable for all ages. You will learn how to create your own hot air balloon using simple materials while exploring art, design, and imagination.
