One thing I keep telling and reminding myself is that I have HELPED so many Men and Women. I always tell people that if I can help just 1, then I have done my job. This job is ALOT of laughter and heartache all at the same time, each time one decides to go try that lifestyle some more. No body told me that this role would or could be hard at times but I can say this… as I looked around the Graduation and Awards Ceremony yesterday, I realized that EACH and EVERYONE of them has to want this Recovery thing first and foremost. As much as I want to just give it to them, they wouldn’t appreciate it unless they earned it by themselves. So even on my toughest days, I have to remember that I have saved MANY lives. I’m truly grateful for my life today and that I can guide and share my experience, strength, and HOPE!!! Amen
