EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY WITH A GROWING PRACTICE

Etowah Counseling is seeking fully licensed clinicians (LPC, LAPC, LMFT, LCSW) to join our private group practice. We are seeking therapists that are currently contracted with insurance panels or are eligible to do so. For LAPC candidates, we will implement a sliding scale rate in lieu of insurance claims.

This opportunity is a contract position with pay based on a percentage split of revenue. As a contracted position, you receive all the benefits and freedoms of a private practice owner, without the headaches of overhead, billing, and administrative concerns. Our group of practitioners make a great team!

Etowah Counseling provides therapists with inviting and professional office space within a historic building in downtown Cartersville. The facility includes a spacious waiting area, private office, kitchen, staff bathroom, office equipment, and high speed internet. Office administration, billing, and filing insurance claims are included as well.

Contractors make their own schedules based on the population we serve. Etowah specializes in marketing and can provided some referrals.

Most appointments are held between 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday through Friday, including flexible times on Saturdays and Sundays.

Employment Requirements:

LPC, LAPC, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW, preferred.

With the latest news from Governor Kemp, there is a shift to re-opening small businesses throughout the state. I wanted to let each of you know that my counseling office is open, I am accepting new clients, and I am meeting with clients for face-to-face sessions.

However, for those that feel more comfortable with maintaining social distance guidelines, I am still conducting sessions over video and phone. I have been very pleased with the success of these telehealth sessions and encourage anyone to take advantage of this option at this time.

I know that there are people who are stressed about things re-opening. There are seniors in high school, as well as other students, that have had a lot of things taken away from them over the past couple of months and may be struggling with coming to terms with that. Families have been around each other far more than usual which has created unforeseen conflicts and stressors in the home. In short, this has been tough and a lot of people are struggling. I want you to know that you do not have to struggle and figure this out alone. I have many clients who are processing and working through the stressors of this pandemic and are finding relief. 

If you think that you need to talk to someone, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I am sure that I have a schedule and method of interaction that will work for you and your situation. I am also accepting most major insurances to help people financially at this time.
