- Our 3 year-long, dedicated HOSA member Simone Meurer has placed 6 in Behavioral Health at State Leadership Conference 2026! We could not be more proud of her and so excited. Simone is a student who has continued to put so much passion towards HOSA, and we cannot wait to see the continuation of her high school and healthcare journey. Congratulations, Simone! :) ❤️

WRAP UP: GA HOSA SLC 2026!

Woodland HOSA had an amazing time at HOSA State Leadership Conference 2026! HOSA students got the opportunity to compete in a variety of healthcare events like Medical Innovation, Health Career Photography, Dental Terminology, and more! We spent 3 days competing and attending incredible healthcare workshops at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis! We had a lovely time at all sessions, and were so proud to spend the second day campaigning for our student Ethan North, who ran for Region 1 Representative, which was followed by karaoke and dinner at the Metro Diner. We are so proud of all of our hardworking and courageous HOSA students.

Woodland HOSA: Future Health Professionals is so incredibly excited and proud to say that our President-Elect has placed first in Personal Care at Georgia HOSA State Leadership Conference 2026. This means she advances on to International Leadership Conference this June in Indianapolis, Indiana. Ryleigh puts constant care, love, and work into ensuring our chapter is at its absolute best and we couldn’t be more grateful to have her as apart of our chapter. Congratulations, Ethan!

Our HOSA student, Ethan North, has been working diligently for the past few months on his application to run for Region 1 Representative of Georgia HOSA. His hard work has paid off and he’s officially slated to run! His campaign will be during State Leadership Conference which will be March 5-7th. We wish him good luck!
