I often hear, “oh look at your plate, you’re so good!” Or “your plate looks healthy”—and I think that some people think they are complimenting that person…but it comes across more like a passive-aggressive judgement. So, can we all just agree to keep our eyes on our own plates?! We don’t have to comment on food choices, especially on a day in which we are all enjoying foods we may not typically eat day to day.
