Food for thought.

If you yell, holler, scream, or curse at your children, that is verbal and emotional trauma and is just as damaging as physically abusing your children. The only thing worse then those is sexually abusing them. I hollered, yelled, screamed and cursed at my sons but I got into therapy and stayed there. Because of my own child abuse, I struggled as a parent. Very few parents want to abuse their children or cause them trauma but it happens, and happens quite often. I am thankful that the Lord heard my prayers for myself and my sons and even today, He still answers.
