When everything feels like it’s getting in top of you it feels totally overwhelming to get back to a place where you’re happy and healthy again.

I find it helpful to ask myself:
- what is just one simple thing I could do now/today that would be helpful or show self-compassion?

Maybe that’s taking a shower, making a cup of tea, getting dressed, going on a walk to the letter box - keep it small and simple.

When we’re feeling 1/10 on the mood scale, don’t focus on getting to a 10. Focus on getting to a 2.

You got this. One gentle step at a time.
