At Refinery, anatomy isn’t optional — it’s the foundation.
Every vessel, nerve, fat pad, and ligament tells us where to place product, how to inject, and when not to.
Knowing depth, vessel location, and structural differences reduces the risk of vascular compromise and other complications.
Knowing facial anatomy is one thing but working with a patient’s individual anatomy is what separates standardized injecting from truly customized, high-level results.
Every face is different—bone structure, fat compartments, muscle strength, vascular patterns, and skin quality all vary.
Enhancement that follows the patient’s natural proportions instead of forcing symmetry that doesn’t exist preserves and/or creates facial balance and harmony.
Strategic placement means refinement—not overfilling. When product is placed correctly, in the right plane, lasts longer and performs better. It means less product is used and placed where that specific face needs support, not where a trend says it should go.
Injecting isn’t about copying faces or following maps blindly.
It’s about reading the face in front of you and respecting its structure.
