RTP Clinical Associates is proud to announce our certification as the first PEERS® (Program for the education and enrichment of Relational skills) provider in the triangle. PEERS® is a world renowned evidence based social skills treatment program for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, and other socio-emotional issues. First developed by UCLA by Dr. Elizabeth Laugeson, & expanded to locations in more than 70 countries & featured on Netflix's "Love on the Spectrum", PEERS® is a parent/caregiver 16 week social skills intervention for individuals with social challenges.

We are offering 2 Virtual PEERS trainings at this time:

1. PEERS® for Young Adults:
Caregiver-assisted social skills intervention for motivated young adults ages
18-40 who are interested in learning ways to make and keep friends and develop more meaningful connections and romantic relationships.
During each group session, young adults are taught important social skills and
given the opportunity to practice them.
Social coaches (i.e., parent, family member, adult sibling, life coach, job coach,
peer mentor) simultaneously attend separate sessions and are taught how to
assist young adults in making and keeping friends by providing feedback during
weekly socialization homework assignments.

2. PEERS® Dating Bootcamp:
Join us for this 2 day virtual bootcamp, open to both teens and adults, in which individuals will receive instruction on skills related to dating, observe role-play demonstrations of the targeted skills, and then practice the skills with dating coaches in small groups. The bootcamp will cover topics such as finding appropriate partners, online dating etiquette, conversational skills, flirting, asking and going on dates, handling rejection, and conflict resolution strategies.

*We are also offering PEERS® intervention in individual 1:1 sessions as well.
