💕Understanding your child’s feelings, behaviour and being there for your child emotionally provides them with a sense of security. Here are a few basic tips that will help you understand children better:

👩‍👧Observation: One of the simplest, yet most effective, ways to learn about your child’s experience is careful observation. Show interest in what your children are doing or saying. Observe their actions, expressions, and temperament.

đź’¬Communication: Spend quality time communicating with your child and asking about their day and feelings helps to create a positive home environment and building your relationship with your child.

đź‘‚Listening: Listening is important when you have a conversation with your child daily develops language and social skills. Kids may not be able to express themselves clearly, which is why it is helpful to pay attention to the words that they use and their non-verbal cues as well.

What is your favourite way? 💬♥️

If you have or know a preschool age kiddo and you are interested in Virtual Preschool... I highly recommend the Virtual Preschool Tutor Program. I have worked directly with Ms. Ashley and have seen her results and the way her students faces light up when they see her.

Tip of the Day:

SING!

Sing about your day. Sing about the chore you are completing. Sing about the diaper you are changing or the toilet they are flushing or the hands they are washing. Sing about how you feel. Sing about your family. Sing about your morning routine. Sing your favorite rock song! The little ones in your life don’t care if you sound like Adele or not but they love listening to you. Singing can help them anticipate an upcoming activity, learn about their environment, and brighten everyone’s mood!
When in doubt, Sing it out!!
