COVID-19 is still ragging our country. As the weather gets colder, outdoor activities become less accessible. Be safe, join us online and outdoor exercises. Email CaryHotYoga@gmail.com for class schedule and access info. In enclosed spaces, even if all social distancing precautions are taken, the most dangerous factor is likely to be aerosolized transmission. Recent research suggests that tiny virus particles can hang in the air for a significant period of time, particularly in enclosed spaces. Be in the comfort of your home but enjoy the interaction with your teacher and other students. See you on the mats.

By slowing down your practice, even for experienced yogis, you will start to notice the very subtle, deep changes happening in the body. You’ll notice each day brings a different challenge or a different sensation. You’ll notice the slightest change in your asana. Slow down to focus on the journey, rather than the destination. Slow down in your flow to help you find the space between poses. Experience the more meditative and calming effects of slow flow and reap the benefits of improved strength and flexibility.

By popular request: Pilates with small ball routine is ON tonight at 5:30PM. Additionally, the ball acts as an unstable surface, which promotes deeper core stabilization. See you on the mat!

What Is Anterior Pelvic Tilt (and How to Fix It)? Anterior pelvic tilt is easy enough to recognize. There are two telltale signs: 1. Exaggerated lumbar curve. 2. Bulging abdomen, even if the person has low body fat. The clear indicators of problematic anterior pelvic tilt are quadriceps and low-back dominance, trouble activating the glutes, stiff and overactive hip flexors, and weak abdominal muscles. Learn how to improve your anterior pelvic tilt with our regular Pilates Exercises and Yoga Stretch. Come to class and find out more. Pilates Sunday at 1:30PM, Hot 26 at 3PM, Restorative at 5PM
