Buying glasses online may seem like an economical choice until it doesn’t work. There are some factors that can’t be accounted for- pupillary distance, seg height or optical center, frame size and fit, lens material, base curve, vertex distance, panto, frame wrap, progressive design. These factors all impact how you see- it’s not just the prescription! 👓

95% of the time when glasses don’t work out- it’s not the prescription that is wrong. Some patients may be fine with online glasses but we’ll be here for those who won’t tolerate anything less than perfection.✌🏼❤️

The Vision Studio was formed in 2019, but its story began in 1980 when Dr. Ira Tucker opened his first practice in North Carolina.

Dr. Ira S. Tucker and Associates built a 38-year reputation as a community focused family eye care practice. During that time, Dr. Tucker became known for outstanding patient care that merged clinical skills and individual patient attention with the latest medical technology.

When Dr. Amy Kasper joined the practice in 2017, she shared the same love for eye care and patients as Dr. Tucker. As the doctors merged their vision for exceptional family eye care, they combined the practice’s years of service with a new outlook for the future: The Vision Studio was formed.
