A heartfelt thank you to VOSH NC for organizing an incredible trip to serve the residents of Jalpatagua, Guatemala. It was an unforgettable experience to be surrounded by such generous-hearted people — volunteers who give their time, skills, and spirit to make a difference. 💛

And to everyone who donates glasses and sunglasses throughout the year: you are part of this mission, too. Your contributions truly change lives. 👓☀️

A big hello from Guatemala! Rachel and Dr. K are out of the office this week volunteering with VOSH NC!

VOSH stands for Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity. It’s a global humanitarian nonprofit organization made of volunteers who travel to provide eye care and glasses to underserved communities worldwide.

Yesterday is what our work is all about!

Talking to all of you, catching up outside of an exam over treats and trying on new styles. Watching our patients interact with each other and giving opinions on frames styles and fashion. A community is what you have helped us build.

We were hesitant in planning this Trunk Show but we poured our whole hearts into this event and WOW did you all show up and support us beyond our expectations! ✨💥

You all are the center of this small little business of ours. To all our patients- thank you from the bottom of hearts for being part of this practice.

A BIG shout out to our staff and reps who carried the day along with their energy. How fantastic were they??

We are 9 days away from our Trunk Show! We’ve got a lot fun planned for the day!

We will be making little mini floral arrangements 💐

Raffles will include a free pair of Tom Fords and Etnia Barcelona frames, and a gift card! Everyone will receive a raffle ticket for showing up and two additional raffle tickets per purchase!

We’re pretty passionate about taking care of patients the way we want. The beauty of private practice is there aren’t any minimum patient counts to meet. So we take our time spending it with patients. We think that’s pretty important for building long term relationships in addition to thorough exams. We’d love to add you to the family! The Vision Studio was formed in 2019, but its story began in 1980 when Dr. Ira Tucker opened his first practice in North Carolina.

Dr. Ira S. Tucker and Associates built a 38-year reputation as a community focused family eye care practice. During that time, Dr. Tucker became known for outstanding patient care that merged clinical skills and individual patient attention with the latest medical technology.

When Dr. Amy Kasper joined the practice in 2017, she shared the same love for eye care and patients as Dr. Tucker. As the doctors merged their vision for exceptional family eye care, they combined the practice’s years of service with a new outlook for the future: The Vision Studio was formed.
