If your eyes are still irritated and nothing seems to be helping… you might just be using the wrong kind of compress 👁️
It’s a small switch, but knowing when to use a hot compress vs cold compress for your eyes can make a big difference.
🔥 A warm compress is great for dry eyes, styes, blepharitis, and clogged oil glands—it helps loosen things up and improve tear quality.
❄️ A cold compress is better for allergies, puffiness, redness, and itchiness—it helps calm inflammation and soothe irritation.
Once you know the difference, it’s a lot easier to get relief (without making symptoms worse).
And if your eyes are still bothering you, it might be time to get to the root of it.
