If your eyes are still irritated and nothing seems to be helping… you might just be using the wrong kind of compress 👁️

It’s a small switch, but knowing when to use a hot compress vs cold compress for your eyes can make a big difference.

🔥 A warm compress is great for dry eyes, styes, blepharitis, and clogged oil glands—it helps loosen things up and improve tear quality.

❄️ A cold compress is better for allergies, puffiness, redness, and itchiness—it helps calm inflammation and soothe irritation.

Once you know the difference, it’s a lot easier to get relief (without making symptoms worse).

And if your eyes are still bothering you, it might be time to get to the root of it.

If your glasses could talk… your optician would finally feel understood 😅

A few things that will actually keep your glasses in good shape (and your optician sane):
👓 Please stop using your head as a glasses holder — it stretches your frames and throws off the fit
👓 Use a proper lens cleaning spray (not Windex, not saliva, not vibes)
👓 Always use a microfiber cloth — paper towels and shirts = scratches
👓 Rinse lenses before wiping to avoid grinding in debris
👓 Two hands on, two hands off — it keeps frames aligned

A little care goes a long way in protecting your lenses, your vision, and your investment.

Your glasses work hard for you… return the favor 👓✨

🚨 Eye Drop Recall Alert 🚨

More than 3.1 million bottles of eye drops from K.C. Pharmaceuticals have been recalled due to a lack of assurance of sterility—meaning they may not be fully safe for use.

These products were sold under several names at major retailers like Walgreens, CVS, Kroger, Rite Aid, Publix, Meijer, and more.

👁️ Recalled eye drops include:
• Dry Eye Relief Eye Drops
• Artificial Tears Sterile Lubricant Eye Drops
• Sterile Eye Drops (Original Formula)
• Sterile Eye Drops Redness Lubricant
• Advanced Relief Eye Drops
• Ultra Lubricating Eye Drops
• Sterile Eye Drops A.C.
• Sterile Eye Drops Soothing Tears

Many of these were sold as store-brand/generic versions, so double-check what’s in your cabinet.

💡 While the FDA classifies this as a lower-risk recall, using non-sterile eye drops can still lead to irritation or infection. If you have any of these, stop using them and reach out to your eye doctor with questions.
