Fresh off the press, our Impact Report:

🌟 Best of All - Allison

When Allison first joined GiGi’s Playhouse, she was hesitant to enter the gym space or take part in programs. New environments and activities felt overwhelming, and for a time, she chose to observe from the sidelines rather than participate. Our team met Allison where she was, creating a welcoming and supportive environment that allowed her to move at her own pace and build comfort and trust over time. Today, Allison confidently walks into the gym, actively participates in programs, and eagerly tries new activities. She has newfound confidence, independence, and a willingness to step outside her comfort zone. Watching Allison engage, smile, and challenge herself reminds us why our programs matter and how a supportive community can empower individuals to discover their strengths and reach their full potential.

🎊 Volunteer Spotlight - Diane

We are so grateful to recognize Diane as our Volunteer of the Month. What we value most about Diane is her thoughtful focus on what works, what doesn’t, and how things can always be improved. She brings a strong lens of conservation, efficiency, and flexibility to everything she does, always with an eye toward making our work better. Diane takes the time to understand the participants’ needs and we are thrilled to learn from Diane and extend our biggest THANK YOU for spending time with us and becoming such a meaningful part of our GiGi’s Family. 

✨ Playhouse Inspiration - Holiday Party

We’re reminiscing on one of many beloved highlight of our Holiday Party with NCDSA. Two familiar faces—Sam and Sophie, incredible volunteers with Down syndrome—stepped into the iconic roles of Mr and Mrs Claus. They offered a powerful gift of representation and inclusion. We captured the spirit of the day in a video shared here on Instagram, which has since reached over 850,000 views and drawn messages of love from around the world—a beautiful reminder that this vision is truly coming to life. 

We’re so grateful for our wonderful community and are thrilled to celebrate their INCREDIBLE impact! 🙌

We have some spots remaining for our Spring GiGi Prep! This focuses on the development of skills related to career readiness and life transitions. 🌷

Participants will be building:

🌟 Communication Skills
🌟 Money Management
🌟 Daily Living Skills
🌟 Community Safety
🌟 Home Chores
🌟 Healthy Living Skills

This is an enrollment based course, meaning the skills build on each other and participants are expected to attend each session. We are asking that you commit to attend each lesson within the session.

They’ll be introducing basic dance styles, techniques, and movements to participants while:
