Dr. Zain Husain grew up in northern New Jersey and began his medical career by earning his medical degree at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He then completed his dermatology residency at Georgetown University Hospital and Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C., where he served as chief resident in his final year. During the summer of 2016, he completed his fellowship in Micrographic Sur
gery and Dermatologic Oncology at Montefiore Medical Center - Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. In addition to his educational achievements, Dr. Husain has certifications in the American Board of Dermatology, as well as BLS/ACLS.

✨ A Year to Remember ✨
2024 has been a year of incredible milestones! This year, we opened the doors to our beautiful new office space , a dream brought to life to provide expert care and confidence to every patient who walks through our doors. 🩺✨
On a personal note, my heart is fuller than ever as we welcomed a baby girl into our family. 👶🎀 She’s already brought so much love and joy into our lives.
I’m beyond grateful for my amazing team, our patients, friends, and family who have supported us through these exciting moments. Here’s to an unforgettable year and even brighter days ahead!

This is 38.
Age is nothing but a number. Although I have a few more greys (.amnahusain digs the salt and pepper look :P), I’ve never felt better. I attribute this to clean living and healthy habits focusing on diet, exercise, sleep, work-life balance, mental health and prioritizing family and relationships. Also, I continue to focus on quality skincare, sun-protection, and non-invasive treatments to maintain youthful and healthy skin.
This past year has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life- moving to NC, building our dream house, launching a new practice, and watching my two daughters thrive in their new environment. I’m looking forward to this upcoming year as Amna and I celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and expecting our third child this summer! I’m truly thankful for all the blessings in my life. Cheers to continued personal growth and making this year the best one yet!

Zain Husain, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs micrographic surgeon. His areas of special interest are skin cancer, Mohs micrographic surgery, and cosmetic dermatology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), and an active member of the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS).
Dr. Husain began his medical education when he was accepted into the highly competitive accelerated 7-year BS/MD program with Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He graduated with top academic honors from medical school and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He then completed his dermatology residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington DC, where he served as chief resident in his final year.
Dr. Husain’s dedication to his patients and profession prompted him to complete a dual fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and cosmetic dermatology at Montefiore Medical Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. There, he received extensive training in advanced skin cancer surgery and reconstruction as well as cosmetic procedures including injectables, body contouring, and laser surgery. Following his fellowship, Dr. Husain worked in private practice in Washington, DC where he also served as a clinical instructor at the George Washington University School of Medicine teaching dermatology residents.
Dr. Husain has, and continues to deliver lectures on dermatologic topics at national conferences and has authored numerous articles in prestigious peer-reviewed medical journals. He is committed to life-long learning and is an active member of professional dermatology societies including the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS), and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS).
Dr. Husain is proud to practice in his home state of New Jersey and serve his local community. He grew up in Fair Lawn, NJ and graduated as valedictorian of his high school class. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies, running, weightlifting, and spending time with his family. He loves to travel and explore different countries, cultures, and cuisines. Dr. Husain lives with his wife, who is a pediatrician, and their beautiful baby girl.
Dr. Husain is personally committed to delivering meaningful care to every patient. He listens to their concerns first, educates them on diagnoses and options, and partners with them to form a treatment plan to best address their concerns.
