Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15–October 15) is a time to honor the history, culture, and contributions of Hispanic and Latine communities across the U.S.

At NCCARE360, we’re proud to play a role in supporting these communities. As of August 2025, more than 15,000 Hispanic/Latine clients have been referred through our network for services such as:

🍎 Food assistance (32%)

🏠 Housing and shelter (22.2%)

💡 Utilities assistance (10%)

👨‍👩‍👧 Individual & family supports (6.8%)

👕 Clothing, childcare & household goods (6.3%)

More than 75% of these referrals were successfully resolved — a testament to the power of connection and collaboration.

Together, we continue working toward equitable access to health and social care for all North Carolinians. 💙

August is National Breastfeeding Month — Theme: Forward Together

This year’s focus, Forward Together, celebrates unity, solidarity, and hope in supporting breastfeeding families. By embracing this spirit through NCCARE360, we help build healthier babies, stronger bonds, and brighter futures for our communities. If your organization offers infant-feeding support, especially in underserved areas, or knows of one that does, consider joining NCCARE360 to connect families with vital resources.

Back to school costs are real. We get it.

Smart Start has backpacks we want to give to families who need them. We have three days in the next weeks when you can come pick one up for your child.

August 8, August 11, or August 12. We're here from 8 in the morning until 5 in the evening. Choose whichever day works best for your family.

You need to register first so we can get a head count and know how many children are coming. When you register, we'll need each child's name who needs a backpack.
