Healthy Minds Now is a Child, Adolescent and Adult psychiatry practice in Cary, founded by Dr. Himabindu Ravi (Hima Ravi), MD. Dr. Ravi is a Child Psychiatrist and an Adult Psychiatrist practicing in Cary, North Carolina. Dr. Ravi has several years of experience in diagnosing and treating Pediatric and Adult Psychiatric disorders. She obtained her Child and Adolescent fellowship from Duke University Medical Center in 2004 and transitioned to a faculty role at Duke until June 2009. Currently Dr. Ravi is consulting faculty at Duke Child and Family study Center. During her tenure at Duke, Dr. Ravi participated in several NIMH funded clinical trials addressing Pediatric Psychiatric disorders such as ADHD, Anxiety disorders, Obsessive compulsive disorders, Autism and Depression. The results of many of these clinical trials directly contributed to evidence based treatments for childhood psychiatric disorders. Dr. Ravi also taught a seminar on Normal Development in Children for Child Psychiatry fellows and residents. She regularly conducts seminars and gives presentations on evidence based practices to teachers, counselors and parents in the community.
