I'm also sporting a new 'do, I chopped my hairs just above my shoulders and I'm LOVING HOW LIGHT IT FEELS 😻
It's that time of year to self-reflect on what you DON'T want to take with you into the New Year...what you want to focus more on and what you're ready to let go of.
This can be as simple a thing as the weight of your hair, which I was ready to let go of for sure! It can also be more complex things such as behavior, thought, or emotional patterns. Or things like being stuck in survival mode, stressed out all the time, creating a certain outcome you desire, or achieving a goal.
So, what do you want MORE and LESS of in the New Year? I'm absolutely NOT talking about making resolutions, instead I'm talking about GAINING CLARITY to create more awareness so you can choose to move towards and align yourself with the things you want more of more consciously and move your attention away from the things you want less of as much as is possible.
Clarity creates more self-awareness, and self-awareness is not in and of itself healing or transformation but it opens up the doors and windows to both.
This is an important point - especially if you struggle with clarity about what you feel, think, want, need, etc. - it's important to understand that when you're stressed, in survival mode, triggered, or dysregulated it is very difficult to have or achieve clarity because all your body/mind's resources are going toward surviving/coping. It's NOT something to blame yourself for, in fact it's a sign your nervous system needs more support and sense of safety/rest.
