February 6th is National Give Kids a Smile (GKAS) Day. GKAS is a meaningful and uplifting program dedicated to delivering vital dental care and education to children in underserved communities.

On January 24, 2026, Sun Life Health hosted a free dental event for children, aged two to eighteen. Recently, we were approached by the AzDA Cares Foundation regarding a generous donation from a local Casa Grande resident, Joe Lassuy. Before his passing, he requested that this donation be utilized for children's oral health in Casa Grande. Having collaborated with AzDA in the past, they selected us to fulfill the donor's wishes. We offered routine dental check-ups and care, orthodontic and medical consultations.

We were thrilled to have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the community and ensure that children receive the dental care they need for a healthy start in life, which was Joe Lassuy’s passion. Our event was able to help over 50 children, aged 2-18 have healthier and happier smiles!
