Because of the Allen Company, all of our staff at Lenox Cremation Services of Michigan and I now have personal protective equipment we need to stay safe during this pandemic. Allen Company normally manufactures hunting and fishing supplies, but during this time of need have switched to manufacturing PPE supplies for those on the front lines of this pandemic. With the announcement of the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” executive order issued by the Michigan Governor, we will not be allowing in-person witnessing to occur until April 14th or until the order is lifted.

Please remember, you can take advantage of live-streaming services that can be arranged through your funeral director.

We will continue to do what is best for our community and stay in compliance to keep everyone safe.

At LCS, the health and well-being of the families we serve, our employees, and community is our top priority. We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone. We are still allowing traditional cremation witnessing and committal services at the crematory. We are asking all families to limit themselves to no more than 5 people at the crematory, in order to keep a safe social distance. We now have password protected private livestream witnessing available on our website for families that have more than 5 that wish to witness or any other reason you cannot attend in person. Please ask your funeral director for additional details on this service.

Please ask questions, such as; what crematory is being used by the funeral home, where is it located, may I witness the cremation, what is the cremation process at the crematory. Whatever funeral home you choose, if the crematory they use is not up to your standards, request they use one that is!
