This dinner was SO good! 😋

Adjust the portions as needed for your own goals:
- tuna steak
- organic white quinoa
- fresh broccoli (wash your veggies before eating them)
- hummus

1. Grill thawed tuna steak until done to your desire - I usually over cook mine a little bit they’re meant to be eaten raw in the middle like sushi! I just like them overcooked 😂😂 you could also use chicken or salmon or beef steak here! I put steak seasoning, salt, pepper and a little olive oil on mine.
- I reheated some leftover cooked quinoa and broccoli in a pan with a little olive oil and Greek seasoning
- and finally added some everything but the bagel flavored hummus on the side and it was delicious 🤤

Four tips for the grocery store 🛒

➡️don’t shop hungry! Studies show that grocery shopping while hungry leads to buying processed snacks and eating an additional 500 calories on average because of being distracted by a product while hungry!
➡️Stick to the perimeters. Do a majority of your shopping on the outside, the fresh product and meats, fresh breads, dairy, and grabbing only the essentials from the middle aisles like rice and pasta and canned veggies.
➡️Make a list and lay it out in the order you will shop. Studies show that by turning around multiple times, your chances improve of being something you don’t need!
➡️Finally, stay focused. There are so many colorful and eye catching food displays and marketing gimmicks that can bring food into the house that we just don’t need. Make it challenge to get in and out as fast as possible to minimize distractions.

Tips for including more fruits and veggies in your diet 🍉🥦
- what’s your current intake? How many daily servings do you consume of fruits? Vegetables? What variety’s and types do you usually consume? Establish of base of awareness of your current situation and intake.
- from there, add a single serving each day with a meal or snack you already consume. For example, maybe you hardly eat fruit and want to eat more. Start by adding a banana or orange each morning with your coffee. Eventually it will become routine!
- Once you’ve kept with your goal for a week or two, add another!
- Optimal intake is at least two to three servings of each fruits and vegetables each day!

Willpower only lasts for so long.

Have you ever caught yourself thinking about someone who’s achieved a goal for themselves and thought, “Huh, I just don’t have the willpower for that”. Well guess what? It wasn’t the will power that got them through. Maybe if it was a very short term process. But real change takes real time and will power alone will not get you there. It starts with changing your values, which changes your behaviors, which creates small change over a long time that creates the big changes some of us so deeply desires. By working with me, I guide and coach you along your journey to help you make small, long last changes to see the big changes. 🏔
