Dr. Michael P. Wilkinson is board certified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He received his podiatric education from The California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, CA in 1995. He completed his podiatric surgical residency at the San Francisco Veteran Administration Medical Center in 1996. Previously, he received his undergraduate degree in Human Biology and Pre-Physical Therapy from Stanford University and his Masters of Business Administration, from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA. In 1996, Dr. Wilkinson moved to beautiful Wyoming, where he and his wife, Alexandra, are proud to call home. The Wilkinson’s have three children, Annie, Lilly and Cody. After Dr. Wilkinson’s podiatric surgical residency, he joined Gem City Bone & Joint in Laramie, WY until 1997. At that point, he opened his own private practice, The Foot Doctor, PC in Casper. Dr. Wilkinson could see the need in Casper for quality foot care and has been devoted to his patients ever since the beginning. The Foot Doctor, PC specializes in diabetic foot care, custom orthotics, foot surgery, ingrown toenail treatment, sports podiatry, heel pain, fractures and sprains, bunions, warts, hammer toes, calluses and corns, geriatric and pediatric concerns and much more. Dr. Daniel Jones joined the practice in July of 2015. A California native, Dr. Jones fell in love with Wyoming after he married wife Amy, a Casper native. They were married in 2001. Dr. Jones studied Biology at Utah Valley University, where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in 2005. His frequent trips to Wyoming during his undergrad years cemented his admiration for the great outdoors here in Wyoming. Dr. Jones attended Podiatry school California School of Podiatric Medicine, and completed a 3 year residency at Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie, PA. While in residency, he also completed a Masters of Science in Medical Education. His residency was strongly focused in Diabetic Limb salvage, elective foot and ankle surgery, and treatment of all pathological issues of the foot and ankle. He did rotations in Dermatology, Orthopedic, Vascular, Plastic, and General Surgery, Podiatric Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Pathology, Radiology, Sports Medicine, Behavioral Health, Infectious Diseases, Neurology, Geriatric Medicine and Internal Medicine. Doctor Jones enjoys all aspect of podiatry and loves to see patients go from limping to walking.
