🧘‍♀️✨I'm excited to share that I'm currently enrolled in an advanced yoga teacher training, completing in May, 2026.

✨You may be wondering what that means for a mental health therapist. This journey isn't just about gaining new skills or deepening my technical knowledge of the mind-body connection that is integral to healing—though those are certainly part of it. It's also a powerful opportunity for me to more fully embody the principles I bring into my work as a therapist and yoga instructor and explore the way those two roles intersect.

✨This training allows me to explore my own inner landscape with greater depth, supporting my own healing and connection to mind-body-spirit. In doing so, I’m better equipped to hold space for others as they navigate their own healing journeys.

✨I truly believe that a therapist can only take clients as deep as she is willing to go herself, and this experience is helping me expand my capacity to guide others through both the beautiful and challenging parts of self-discovery and growth.

✨By integrating what I’m learning—both technically and experientially—into my practice, I can continue to offer a safe, grounded, and embodied space for somatic processing and trauma healing.

Learning how to do new things can be really frustrating, irritating, intimidating (the list goes on) but the good news is, the more we practice, the easier it becomes. I have been challenging myself with using new tools for creating content and marketing (way out of my comfort zone!) While there is a lot to learn, I am proud of this first attempt to introduce myself and look forward to many more challenges learning opportunities!

My name is Tabbitha Menzel, and I am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at Boise State University while gaining practical experience as a student therapist at Atman Wellness. I come to Atman Wellness with several years of experience, including advocacy work, direct client work, clinical experience in youth residential and outpatient treatment, and community service work. Throughout my career, I have developed a strong foundation in trauma-informed care and a client-centered approach.
At Atman Wellness, I am focused on cultivating a safe, supportive environment where folks feel heard and understood. I am committed to offering long-term therapeutic support to help folks navigate and overcome systemic challenges, with an emphasis on providing lasting solutions that foster safety and emotional well-being.
