We are looking for a new team member to help provide excellent patient care in our Casper clinic.

As a Medical Assistant/Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to make sure our immediate orthopedic care clinic is efficient. You will support providers and patients through various tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. This position is Monday – Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM.

🏀 Why Peach Basket? The Evolution of the Basketball Net 🏀

When Dr. James Naismith invented basketball in 1891, there were no fancy hoops—just peach baskets nailed to balconies! 🍑🏀 Players had to climb a ladder after every shot to retrieve the ball, or someone was stationed at each end to fish it out.

🔹 How Peach Baskets Were Used:
✅ Hung from balconies at opposite ends of the court.
✅ The baskets were closed, requiring a ladder to retrieve the ball.
✅ A person was placed at each end to manually remove the ball.

🏆 How the Peach Basket Became the Modern Hoop:
➡️ A small chain was added to help release the ball.
➡️ 1894 – A backboard was introduced to prevent interference from spectators.
➡️ 1906 – The bottom of the net was finally cut, allowing the ball to fall through.
➡️ 1913-1914– This change was officially legalized, creating the classic swish we love today!
