A recap of 2023: The past year brought a mix of excitement, pure joy, and pride for me and my family. Although our crowdfunding campaign was not successfully funded, starting this project from the ground up was an experience I could hardly forget. I want to express my gratitude to my family, friends, and beloved supporters once again for guiding me toward success from the beginning. 2024 is more exciting than ever—Happy New Year!

Did you know that cashew skins contain natural antioxidants? Cashew skins (or testa) contain phenolics and tocopherols, two compounds that are recognized as important natural antioxidants. They are usually discarded before consumption, although some people prefer to consume cashews with the skins on due to their nutritional benefits.

Cashew skins can also be served as natural preservatives, keeping the freshly roasted cashews crunchy and packed with flavors!

The unique terroir of the Binh Phuoc area imparts a slightly sweet, buttery, and nutty flavor to our cashews. The wood-fire roasting process further enhances these characteristics to a whole new level!

P.S. In wine terminology, the French word "terroir" (pronounced ter-wahr) refers to the environmental conditions, such as soil and climate, in which grapes are grown, giving a wine its unique flavor and aroma.

Our Kickstarter campaign came to an end today, and as much as we wished it could have gone differently, our project was not successfully funded. Since this is an all-or-nothing campaign, we will not receive any funds, and the initial production will be postponed to a future date. Additionally, if you have already pledged to the project, you will not be charged for your pledge.

Despite this unfortunate news, we still want to express our gratitude to every single supporter out there and say THANK YOU! This experience has been a tremendous learning curve for us, helping us evolve and better serve you. Phan's Gourmet Wood-Fired Cashews will be back, so stay tuned for more updates!
