Iris Clubhouse

Iris Clubhouse A working community for adults who have a history of mental illness. In 2017 Iris House, Inc. was established.

A Clubhouse is a community of adults living with a diagnosable mental illness who come together to work towards personal goals. The clubhouse is a work-oriented program that helps people to build their job skills, to regain personal worth and to rejoin our community. Through this program, these individuals can lead rich and fulfilling lives, while at the same time reducing hospitalizations, incarc

erations and the need for additional social services. The Iris Clubhouse provides opportunities and resources for friendship, employment, housing and education in a caring and safe environment. Our members have the opportunity for recovery and can participate as valued and respected members of society. We are in a โ€œnewโ€ building, have a dedicated volunteer board, full support from the mental health community and goals to expand our program. We follow the Clubhouse Model of Psychosocial Rehabilitation, just as the 341 other Clubhouses throughout the world do.

Today is Clubhouse Giving Day Along with the start of Mental Health Awareness Month!๐Ÿ’›

At Iris Clubhouse, our members are building meaningful lives through connection, purpose, and opportunity. Every day, people show up to grow, support one another, and take steps toward the lives they want.

Every donation, no matter the size, directly supports our members as they grow, contribute, and thrive in their community.

If you have ever wondered how to support mental health in a real, tangible way, this is it.

Welcome to our colleagues from across the United States as they join us for a comprehensive two-week training on the Clubhouse Model. During their time with us, participants will be fully immersed in our clubhouse environment, engaging in hands-on learning designed to strengthen and enhance their own programs.

Alliance House is honored to host this training and values the opportunity to collaborate, exchange best practices, and reinforce shared standards. Together, we look forward to supporting each participating clubhouse as they develop tailored action plans to advance their individual missions.
