As we head into the holiday season, we want to share our adjusted open hours so everyone can plan ahead. We look forward to spending time together, celebrating, and closing out the year with our community.

Big news to share! 🎉

Yesterday we officially signed our partnership agreement with Kind Grounds to launch a brand new transitional employment position for our members and we could not be more excited. This partnership opens real doors for people who are ready to grow build skills and step confidently into the workforce.

Huge shoutout to our amazing partners at Kind Grounds for believing in our members and jumping into this collaboration with so much heart. And an extra big thank you to Your Wyoming Link and reporter Duncan Cowan for capturing this milestone and helping us share it with the community.

This is only the beginning and we cannot wait to see what our members achieve next. 💚

It is Giving Tuesday 💙

Today is about choosing to support the causes that matter and lifting up the people and places that make our community stronger. At Iris Clubhouse we see every day how much hope grows when someone has a safe place to belong. Members come in ready to learn new skills build confidence reconnect with their community and take steps toward employment and education. None of that happens without people who care.

Your support helps us provide a stable welcoming space for adults living with mental health challenges. It helps us keep our Work Ordered Day program thriving. It helps us open the door to new opportunities like supported employment and supported education. Most of all it helps every member know they are valued and not alone.

🌧️ Feeling the Winter Blues? You’re Not Alone 🌤️

As the days get shorter and colder, many people start to feel their mood shift. This is called Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) or seasonal depression. It’s more common than most people realize, and it’s nothing to be ashamed of. Your body and mind are reacting to less sunlight and changes in your daily rhythm.

Here are a few simple ways to care for yourself this season:

💡 Get some light
Try to spend time outside each day or sit by a bright window. A light therapy lamp can also help increase your energy and improve mood.

🏃 Move your body
Exercise in any form can lift your spirits and ease stress. Even a short walk can help.

☕ Stay nourished
Eat balanced meals with foods rich in Vitamin D, B12, and Omega-3s. These nutrients support brain health and emotional balance.

💊 Check your vitamins
Low Vitamin D levels are common during winter. Ask your doctor if a supplement could help you feel better.

🕯️ Build cozy routines
Warm drinks, soft lighting, and calming activities can make long evenings feel more peaceful.

💬 Stay connected
Reach out to friends, family, or visit the Clubhouse. Sharing time with others can make a big difference.

❤️ Ask for help when you need it
If you’re struggling, talk to a professional or join a peer support group. You don’t have to handle it alone.
