Crossroads Counseling was opened and established by, Jeremiah Volk MSW, LCSW, LAT in June of 2014. We offer a variety of services including but not limited to: Mental Health Counseling, Substance Abuse Counseling, Anger Management, Couples' Counseling, Family Counseling, EMDR, etc. We also provide substance abuse evaluations through the Addictions' Severity Index (ASI) and Anger Management assessm

ents. Not only do we provide these services in the office, but we can also meet with our clients within the community. We provide services for all ages of clients. Who are we? Well, Jeremiah Volk....
Jeremiah obtained his Associates' of Science degree in Addictionology from Casper College in 2005, his Bachelor's in Social Work from the University of Wyoming in 2007 and he obtained his Master's of Social Work through Walla Walla University in 2008. He has worked in the field of mental health and substance abuse since 2005. Jeremiah has also been trained in EMDR and is currently taking clients who are in need of this service. Jeremiah has lived in Casper, WY for the better part of 35 years and has always considered our beautiful city his home. He is also a musician and has played for numerous charity events within our community. He also teaches for the University of Wyoming as an adjunct instructor as needed. He has sat on the Board of Directors for the Mercer Family Resource Center and has also been on the Juvenile Justice Committee through the Community Juvenile Service Board in the past. He is very passionate about doing what he can to keep our community a wonderful and safe place to raise our children.
..and Grace Niemitalo:
Grace Niemitalo received her Bachelor in Social Work from the University of Wyoming in 2019 and her Master of Social work in 2020 from Boise State University. She is a Provisionally Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a focus on substance abuse, healthy relationships, holistic mental health care, and social justice practices. She received her yoga instructor RYT-200 certification in 2019 and draws on the mind-body philosophy of yoga within the therapeutic environment. She promotes physical and mental healing through meditation, journaling, breathing and gentle movement exercises, mindfulness, and artful expression, in addition to using ACT and CBT modalities. Grace implements these interventions in her work with adolescents, substance use treatment, couple’s and family therapy, and individual mental health work. She is highly interested in how individuals interact with their support systems and environments and focuses on these relationships through the treatment process. Grace believes strengthening the community enhances the lives of all within that community. Grace is a board member for Self Help Center, The City of Casper LGBTQ Advisory Board, and the Wyoming Lifeline Board. In her free time, she enjoys snowshoeing, hiking, kayaking, bicycling, reading, practicing yoga, making collages, and spending time with family, friends, and puppies.
..and our newest member Sarah Roberts:
Sarah Roberts received her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Wyoming in 2020 and her Master of Social Work in 2021 from the University of South Dakota. She is a Provisionally Licensed Clinical Social Worker and provides services primarily to children and adolescents. She loves assisting clients with enhancing their personal development, life transitions, social relationships, educational experiences, etc. Sarah takes a strengths-based, person-centered approach to counseling and highly values the self-determination and creativity of each individual. She works with her clients to create personalized treatment goals that promote their mental, physical, spiritual, and social wellness. Outside of the office Sarah enjoys exercising, playing musical instruments, thrifting, spending time with friends, being outdoors, and eating good food!
