đź’š UND OT Alum Making an Impact in Rural Health đź’š
EvelynElaine, a Wyoming-based health innovation organization, recently received a grant from the Wyoming Community Foundation to expand its Caregiver Bootcamp, a unique program designed to support family caregivers of loved ones with chronic or complex health needs.
This exciting achievement was made possible in large part thanks to Dr. Skye Gross, a recent graduate of the University of North Dakota’s Occupational Therapy Doctorate program! As the lead grant writer, Dr. Gross brought her passion for rural health equity and caregiver support, shaped by her UND capstone project, into action to help secure funding for this much needed initiative.
EvelynElaine’s Caregiver Bootcamp blends online education with live sessions from healthcare professionals, offering training on everything from wound care to caregiver mental health. With this new grant, the program will expand into more rural and underserved areas of Wyoming, empowering families and reducing barriers to care.
👏 We’re incredibly proud to see UND OT alumni like Dr. Gross creating real-world impact!
